How it works
The treatment delivers maximum hydration to the skin, using an infusion of hyaluronic acid with a pressurized oxygen mist. It’s an ideal way to achieve plumped-up, glowing skin right before an important event (the effects are instant but last for days after the treatment). Since the treatment plumps up the skin, lines are less noticeable. Skin is smoother, making it easier to apply makeup.

Prep your body for spring

As the harshness of winter gives way to spring, daffodils appear along the sidewalk, cherry blossoms open, and the start of a new season reveals itself. While sunshine and warmer weather uplifts the spirit, these transitional periods can also be disruptive and can require us to devote additional care to our bodies. Incorporating more anti-inflammatory foods into your diet is the first step in facilitating healing and strengthening your body’s defenses from the inside out. Below are a few of our nutritional favorites for reducing inflammation this Spring:

• Flax seed oil is high in omega 3 fatty acids, which are incredible for reducing inflammation. This oil is six times richer in omega 3 fatty acids than most fish oils. Try drizzling some over your next salad, adding a spoonful to a smoothie, or sprinkling flax seeds in soup, oatmeal, or yogurt.
• Walnuts are chock-full of healthy fats—65 percent by weight, in fact—which makes them an energy-dense food that will satisfy you for longer periods than other snacks. A high source of polyunsaturated fats, walnuts are the only nuts that contain a significant amount of omega 3 ALA.
• Spinach is a great source of vitamins A, C, K, manganese, zinc, and selenium. It contains flavonoids, powerful antioxidants that protect against disease and fight free radical damage, making it one of the best foods for strengthening the immune system.
• Turmeric is the current darling and with good reason. It's a great source of the chemical curcumin, which has been shown to decrease swelling and inflammation. It's great for gut inflammation, joint issues, and skin redness. Use fresh root or powered turmeric in stirfries, add to a latte, or make golden milk: heat up coconut or almond milk on the stove and add grated turmeric and ginger, a cinnamon stick, ground black pepper, and a sweetener of choice. Simmer for 10 minutes and enjoy this healing beverage.

Spring forward with a healthy glow: The art of exfoliation & hydration

As we spring forward, it’s helpful to remember to change more than our clocks. The change in seasons means we need to change our skincare approach as well. This 100-percent natural and nontoxic peel has 22 high-performance ingredients that work for your skin, not against it. Multiple natural sources of Alpha Hydroxy Acid, Poly Hydroxy Acid, and Beta Hydroxy Acid work to purify, smooth, balance, and hydrate the look of your skin so you can achieve your best glow.

A love letter to P50

We all love our P50. It's true love, our skin's soulmate. In fact, many of our clients can’t live without it. Biologique Recherche’s Dr. Allouche has called it a “potion in a lotion” and it is the keystone to BR’s skin care treatment. There’s nothing else like it on the market.

There are a few different versions, but all are the unique result of 30 years of development and experience. P50 balancing exfoliators speed up the epidermis' natural exfoliating process and the reconstruction of the epidermal shield. The fortified epidermis protects the skin, boosting its self-regeneration abilities. All BR treatments begin with the P50 ritual in the morning and evening. It gently exfoliates the skin, regulates excessive sebum secretion, moisturizes and helps maintain the epidermis' acid pH. It prevents and treats in-grown hairs, and is therefore ideal for pre- and post-shaving skin care.

Lotion P50 is the formulation that started it all, the original P50 is recommended for seborrheic or hyper-keratinized skin.

Lotion P50 V is the kinder formulation developed for less toned and devitalized skin.

Lotion P50 W is the gentlest exfoliator of the bunch. It is chock-full of anti-inflammatory active ingredients and ideal for fine, sensitive skin prone to redness.

Lotion P50 PIGM 400 is an exfoliating and brightening lotion perfect for dull complexions with hyperpigmented marks. To use P50:

The first week, soak a cotton pad moistened with water with Lotion P50 and apply to the face, neck and cleavage, patting upward gently without rubbing.
