New hand treatment results in youthful, hydrated skin
January 29, 2016
Often an unforgiving reflection of the aging process, hands have it rough. The epidermis has 4–5 times less moisturizing factors than the face, which results in constant dehydration and an accelerated aging process. Add to that constant use and exposure to sun, wind, cold weather, hot water, detergents, and you get rough, dry, sensitive skin and fragile, damaged fingernails.
That’s where the Jill Bucy Skincare Hand Treatment comes in.
It utilizes Biologique Recherche products and is designed to moisturize, reduce pigmentation, and brighten your hands while you’re enjoying a facial treatment. Skin will be perfectly hydrated, regain suppleness, softness and radiance.
The treatment begins by applying P50 to the hands and arms. Then, Masque Gommage Mains gently exfoliates the hands using jojoba wax beads and poly-alpha-hydroxy acids, which stimulate cellular renewal. Hyaluronic acid hydrates, and sorrel extract unifies the epidermis. This is worked in and removed, then Masque Visolastine E is applied to the hands, which are then placed in plastic mitts until the end of the facial.
At this point, the mask is removed and followed by a massage that utilizes Emulsion Mains PIGM 400, a multi-beneficial treatment that counters the imbalances of dry, pigmented hands. This rich cream reduces the appearance of existing pigmentary imperfections and helps to prevent new spots from forming. Watercress sprout extract brightens, avocado oil and shea butter are intensely moisturizing, and rosemary oil is protective. In a word, delicious.
You’ll leave with smoother, hydrated, more youthful looking hands. This add-on treatment is $50.
